Bobbie
Jo
grew up in the Dallas-Fort Worth area in Texas where she began studio dance and cheer at the age of 5. She received many team and solo awards.
After starting her family, she continued her dance education at North Lake College. In 1998 she moved with her husband Tim and two children Joshua and Jamie to Chariton, IA and coached the local high school dance team for six years then stepped down to open In Motion Dance Studio-a life long dream!
Certified to teach all styles and levels of dance, her primary motivation is to instill a love of dance and confidence in all of her dancers. Although Bobbie Jo instructs competition dance, her goal is not focused around trophies, rather the opportunity to perform.
She is currently coaching the high school drill team once again and continues her dance training by
attending dance conventions and workshops throughout the Midwest and beyond with her daughter
Jamie and niece Jordan Miller. |

Chelsey
wickett
Jazz, Hip-hop, Team Dance
Chelsey grew up in Chariton, IA and is currently working toward
her nursing degree at Mercy College of Health Sciences in Des Moines.
Chelsey also attended the University of Iowa. She has 2 dogs she loves: a yellow
lab named Gable and a black lab named Hawkeye.
Chelsey has danced since she was 3 1/2 years old and has been
dancing ever since. She was on the Chariton Drill Team for 4 years and was
chosen as captain her senior year. Awards include: All star performer 2003-2005,
Dancers Honor Roll 2003 and 2005, Division One State Solo 2004, Showmanship
Award 2005, Capital One Bowl Performer 2005, and All American Dancer
2005.
Immediately following high school, Chelsey danced with Champion Dance as an
instructor and choreographer for state competition routines.
Her favorite type of dance is Hip-Hop!! However she loves them
all- "I LIVE TO DANCE!" |
